Must Watch Links

Links

Creature Comforts
Interviews turned into animation! Well worth the watch + notice how they twisted their concept.

MK12
Quite possibly the best motion graphics firm (and they're in our backyard). Notice their visual techniques for using photography + creating a vintage film reel look.

For Monday: Interviews & Storyboards

For Monday's class:

- 3 audio files, cut or edited to a usable length (from about 50 seconds — 1 minute 20 seconds)

- 3 storyboards, one for each audio clip, of how you would animate the interview, 20 frames (Google 'storyboards' if you need more examples)

The three audio files can be a mix of interview
or found audio.

Please try to explore three different methods of thinking about your concept—not just 'the first time I..' or "describe a stage" questions.
Challenge how the word can be interpreted and represented.
