It's all about the PR. When it comes to finding a job, no matter where you are in the arc of your career, it all comes down to having good PR. PR, in this case, is professional relationships. After all, the classic PR, or public relations is really about relationship building. It's not just about what you send out, but about how you present the whole package: your work, your creative process, your inspiration, and your personality.
